As a Grassroots Associate, you will be an essential member of the Americans for Prosperity team, working to identify potential supporters and build relationships with voters in your local area. You will be responsible for canvassing door-to-door to engage with potential voters, identify their political beliefs, and discover what issues matter most to them. By gathering this information, you will help Americans for Prosperity understand the needs and priorities of the communities they serve and advocate for solutions based on proven principles to tackle the country's most critical challenges.
As a Grassroots Associate, you will work independently and as part of a team to meet performance targets and goals. You will use your communication skills to build rapport with potential supporters and your organizational skills to manage your time and schedule effectively. You will be comfortable with technology and use the Americans for Prosperity proprietary app to gather data and report it to your supervisor. In addition to canvassing, you will participate in training sessions and meetings to learn about Americans for Prosperity's core principles and their advocacy efforts. You will have opportunities for personal and professional growth and can earn performance-based bonuses and referral bonuses.

Qualifications
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for meeting new people
- Ability to manage your own time and schedule effectively
- Good communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Comfortable with technology, including smartphones and tablets
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Must be able to work 20-35 hours per week
Responsibilities
- Canvass targeted neighborhoods door-to-door to identify potential voters and engage in conversations about their political beliefs
- Use the Americans for Prosperity proprietary app to gather data about voter preferences and interests
- Report data accurately and efficiently to your supervisor
- Work collaboratively with your team to meet performance targets and goals
- Represent Americans for Prosperity in a professional manner while engaging with voters and potential supporters
- Attend training and team meetings as required
