Retail Admin and Marketing Comms Support

As a Retail Admin and Marketing Comms Support, you will be responsible for supporting the sales assigned organization (division & market) and customers throughout the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology, determining costs, preparing final documentation, and serving as a key technical resource in the assigned area. Reporting to Sales Manager Channel Distribution, you will be offering technical advice and providing comment on enquiry specifications for customers/ channels/ sales specialists with regard to ABB products/ systems/ applications. This position is based in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Your responsibilities
- Providing technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations
- Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine most suitable technical solution to customer needs
- Preparing and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues
- Preparing offers in coordination with the local sales unit and global sales specialists
- Ensuring technical and financial aspects of offers, including price and trading conditions, are appreciate
- Participating in customer visits during their visits to local factory site
- Implementing global standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations/ project execution and sharing functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization
- Ensuring budget (volumes) and profitable growth targets are achieved in the respective countries and for all assigned product group
Your background
- A bachelor's or associate degree in marketing, business, or a related field
- Proven work experience as a sales support specialist or sales support associate
- Understanding of efficient customer support and sales strategies
- A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
