We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our mechanical engineering department as a key player in the development of next generation Network Switches! This key position includes owning the product and fixtures design, close interaction with HW, PMC (Product management & configuration), NPI, Thermal, Layout, Quality and Supply chain groups.

What you’ll be doing:
- Designing all the mechanical design aspects of Network Switch Box, custom Mezzanine boards and the test/assembly infrastructure (fixtures and jigs) to enable high volume manufacturing.

Proposing multiple early design concepts while working in fast-paced product development cycles.- Independently leading product design from concept, through detailed design, and support it during Qualification, NPI and MP stages.
- Join and lead task forces to investigate and support production excursions, failure analysis and reliability issues.
- Collaborate in research of ground-breaking technologies, materials, and processes with other groups to bring in creative ideas that solve ever growing needs.
What we need to see:
- B.Sc. or equivalent experience in Mechanical Engineering or higher
- 3+ years of proven experience in electro-mechanical product design, including PCB/PCBA design
- Excellent hands-on experience with 3D CAD. Creo is an advantage.
- Experience in developing fixtures/jigs for product assembly/testing
- Self-motivated with a sharp learning curve and able to work independently and as a teammate
- High awareness of the quality and manufacturability and understanding of statistical tolerance analysis techniques and geometric tolerancing
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in both English and Hebrew
- Knowledge of manufacturing raw materials, Hardware fasteners, finishing and coatings
- Ability to lead multiple tasks while being very well organized
- Handyman - ability to assemble what you designed & train others
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
- Background in development of liquid cooled systems
- Experience in working with supply chains, contract manufacturers and leading resources such as consultants, component suppliers, contractors, and manufacturing partners
- Agile, PDP or other product management system (PLM), and mechanical stress simulation tools
- Experience in IDF file exchange with Layout engineers
- Experience in development and implementation/training of new design and flow methodologies
