Ko wai mātou | Our Organisation
As part of the new Te Whatu Ora/Health New Zealand organisation, at Te Toka Tumai Auckland we are committed to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi and providing culturally safe care. We value role modelling manaakitanga as demonstrated by Ngāti Whātua in the gifting of their whenua on which our hospitals stand. We aspire to having a workforce reflective of the communities we serve and achieving equitable outcomes for all.
In the recruitment space we are focusing on strategies that will change our game in candidate attraction, branding and process improvement and we need innovative recruiters to help deliver that promise! You'll have autonomy to run your portfolio but have fantastic support from a strong team, who laugh a lot, but also relish in the challenge of finding & hiring great health professionals for our frontline services - rewarding job purpose and satisfaction in one!
Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
If you have worked in health before you'll know it gets under your skin! There is something about contributing to the health of the community that is pretty cool and satisfying - you are hiring and helping build the health workforce of tomorrow. Career opportunities within the overall sector will be significant as all the changes are put in place and within our own team there are multiple portfolios across which a Consultant can grow their skills/knowledge and several have moved in to more generalist HR positions as well as being seconded in to significant projects. And of course there is our team vibe which is diverse, supportive and collaborative, with good humour and outstanding culinary diversity (when we can get together to share). We also have flexibility around working from home.
We need a positive, enthusiastic and experienced operator that is super organised and efficient, adept at managing multi stakeholders, as well as having all the recruitment basics of being well planned, an ace at candidate attraction and care, proactive and resilient when there is a bump in the road!
We are a values based and inclusive organisation that is committed to deliver the best health outcomes for our total population. To do this we are working hard to develop a robust and capable workforce that reflects the population we serve. Our organisation values diversity, inclusivity and empathy, if you do too, then make contact or apply now and join us to make a positive difference to the health of our communities.
