The Job: The Warehouse and Distribution Analyst (WSA) is accountable to administrate and coordinate the activities been held by and with contracted LSP(s) to operate under Good Storage Practices, to optimize warehouse capabilities and to identify slow-moving products highlighting to affiliate about any hidden inventory which requires special attention. This role will support the CSC to administrate OpEX and Distribution expenses having the possibility to look for improvement areas an lead, co-lead and guide 3rd Parties with regards to appropriate strategies of storage and distribution of the affiliates inventory and its customers.
Scope of the Job: Colombia Domestic market, with following responsibilities:
Good Storage Practices:
- Be present at floor-deck operations on a constant way providing guidance
- Organize GEMBA Walks with LSP personal and Supply Chain team (if applies), identifying best practices and lesson learned.
- Communicate and escalate deviation, including VEEVA documents creation to address to proper owner
- Assure that GSP are followed and implement corrective and preventive actions in case of deviations Accountable to create and follow up of needed Change Controls to implement and close properly Create, maintain, and follow up SOP (procedures) to keep documented our operations
- Be accountable to lead, organize and attend external and internal audits, in collaboration with LSP organization
- Responsible to implement needed improvement actions, procedures, practices, and investments (related to audit outcomes).
Warehousing capacity, inventory levels and slow-moving products:
- Responsible of Master Data WH maintenance and strategy
- Roll forwards, year-end counting and cycle counts in order administrate, prevent and adjust inventory differences, accountable to assure that areas involved deliver needed actions to keep warehousing books as clean as possible.
- Lead physical destruction processes and needed documentation.
- Create financial documentation, files and complementing existing platforms (IPT) to reflect correct accrual provisions and support Supply Chain team to keep Slow-moving, destruction values on top of mind by reporting during S&OP order to highlight relevant KPIs.
- Administrate pallet position capacity, segmentation, accommodation based on FGs class, safety and temperature conditions and being accountable to project pallet capacity risks, escalation needs and mitigation actions.
OpEx and Distribution:
- Administrate, review and control all related expenses (OpEX) coming from LSP Warehousing and Distribution activities.
- Accountable to create proper projections, F0X and Business Plan of assigned Cost Centers to be reported to the Commercial Supply.
- Motivate and guide LSP to implement improvement projects about warehousing and Distribution looking for savings, increasing flow process speed, reduce wastes, improve customer service and contributing to OpEx reduction, projects could be deployed either by LSP or by the WDA
Operations and other activities:
- Execution of inbound and outbound movements in the system, including all other warehousing transactions and reporting.
- Coordinate (if applies) re-packaging activities, including sourcing material and/or components, assuring that protocols (QA) and processes are correctly followed, additional the WDA will be point of contact about delivery repacked products to Supply areas.
- Provide physical information about label, sizes and other data related to products
- Support other Elanco areas with regards Safety, Finance (SOXs) and other when it is needed.
