Warehouse Supervisor [South Africa]

 

Heartdeco is seeking a dynamic and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join our team. As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our warehouse operations and leading a team of motivated individuals. This is a full-time position with a 2-month probation period and a starting salary of R6000.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods efficiently.

• Ensure accurate inventory management through regular stock checks and documentation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Supervise and lead a young and spirited team, providing guidance, training, and motivation to achieve targets.
• Implement and enforce safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.
• Collaborate with other departments to optimize warehouse processes and improve overall efficiency.
• Generate reports on warehouse activities, including inventory levels, productivity, and performance.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics supervisory role.
• University qualification in a related field is preferred.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a diverse team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with acute attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with staff at all levels.
• Proficient computer skills and experience with warehouse management systems.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Age requirement: between 21 and 35 years.
