Key Responsibilites:

Manage Donaldson Industrial Aftermarket Products and Product Lifecycle for Asia Pacific (initial focus on Greater China and Southeast Asia markets) by driving product strategies, portfolio and roadmap in meeting the company’s objectives and specific needs of the regional market.

Responsible for successful introduction of new products into the local market, including setting strategic direction to develop market campaigns, communication strategy, collateral and training resources as required.

Participate in development process of filtration replacement proposals / solutions for customers. Strive to provide cost effective design solutions meeting customer performance requirements.

Lead and support product development programs / projects including Donaldson filter manufacturing transfer to local factories / non-Donaldson replacement filter availability through in-house and external suppliers.

Conduct competitive product research to determine strategic actions required (new product introductions) and/or growth opportunities to develop.

Manage and maintain technical data, cross referencing and product performance criteria, in addition to sales tools, pricing support, catalog data as well as managing customer expectations in terms of on-time-delivery and inventory levels

Provide leadership in the field as necessary through site visits and presentations. Support the sales force as necessary with product and technical presentations to customers.

Evaluates and assesses feasibility of new product opportunities including market potential and suitability for local market, and recommend course of action.

Support Ecommerce setup as well as management of part numbers on replacement parts

Carry out tasks assigned by supervisor as and when required.
Education Qualification:
-
Bachelor degree or equivalent in Business, Science, Technical or Engineering field
Technical Competence & Skills:
-
Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in filtration or dust collection

Ability to develop business cases and return on investment (ROI) for new products, projects or capital investments
-
Ability to develop and communicate product line strategies
-
Ability to work with outside vendors, engineering and manufacturing to determine process and cost for building new aftermarket products.

Ability to write clearly and in a manner suitable for the conduct of professional business

Ability to effectively present ideas and communicate with members of the immediate group and the organization or customers as a whole

Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Leadership Competence:

Ability to lead the work of project teams, including setting pace, knowledge transfer, team coaching, ability to influence and organizational awareness.
Relevant Experience:

Sales Support / Product Management or Engineering / Applications Engineering
Others (% of travel, language, etc.):

Able to travel regularly (up to 25% travels)

Strong cross-cultural communication, critical reasoning and analytical skills

Strong presentation skills and ability to communicate at all levels

Excellent verbal and written communication (in Chinese and English), as well as the ability to bring clarity to complex ideas
