Roosendaal-based Flowserve B.V. specializes in the supply and overhaul of valves and controls for the oil, gas, and chemical industries, amongst others. Many of the valves are automated to customer specifications in our wellequipped workshop. Our products have a high-quality standard. Due to increasing activities and growth, we are looking for a Production Supervisor.
Responsibilities :
As Production Supervisor in our dynamic working environment, you will be responsible to manage a team of four technicians in our workshop, as well as a team of three warehouse inventory clerks. You will ensure that everyone can do their job properly. By making sure your colleagues have the right knowledge, tools and materials available. You contribute to the continuous professionalizing process of our QRC and ensuring safety on the shop floor.
- You will be responsible for the planning and execution of daily work in our workshop and warehouse for the three pillars in our organization:
- Assembling new automated valves.
- Overhauling control valves, valves, and actuators.
- Distributing stock
• You are responsible for directing, motivating, and leading the employees in workshop and warehouse. • You handle correct and timely, production orders in the workshop.
- You are responsible for correctly documenting/administrating maintenance, tests, and inspections.
- You are responsible for performing the role of test coordinator. You monitor test procedures and test methods.
- You are responsible for safety, health and environment in workshop and warehouse.
- You think, decide, and contribute to a strongly growing service & repair department.
- You ensure that the warehouse is run efficiently, and that the incoming and outgoing goods process flows smoothly. In this position, you will report to the manager, Projects & Aftermarket and as a team you will be responsible for ensuring that all operations within workshop and warehouse run optimally. Production Supervisor M/V 40 hrs p/w
Requirements :
You feel at home in a dynamic, commercial, and technical working environment. You are entrepreneurial, customer- and service-oriented and possess good communication skills. To be successful in this role, you are a technician at heart and have fundamental understanding of valve- and actuation technology and industrial maintenance.
- You operate on at least MBO (Engineering) level 4.
- You are communicatively and analytically strong in Dutch and English.
- You are willing to deepen and develop yourself in product knowledge through (international) hands-on training.
- You have developed yourself in recent years and are ready for a first or second supervisorial role.
- You can make decisions in which safety, health and environment come first.
- You are interested in monitoring the quality of work caried out.
- You have the ambition to develop yourself and your team.
- You are willing to work overtime, especially during Turn Around periods.
- You have a hands-on mentality and act proactively when it comes to your contribution within the team.
- You are also stress-resistant, accurate, flexible, customer-oriented and think in terms of solutions.
- Experience with SAP is an advantage.
- You possess or want to obtain a valid forklift certificate.
