Position available for Cleaning Operative in a school in Palmerstown, Dublin 20
07:00-13:00, Monday to Friday ( Some ocasional weekends)
Cleaning Operative job description:
- Undertake general cleaning of areas of the school.
- Vacuuming, dusting, and washing floors and walls including dorms
- Sweeping, floor polishing, and waste disposal
- Dust furniture and vacuum carpeting and area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
- Clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Ensuring the toilet facilities are kept clean, and supplies are replenished when required
- General housekeeping and cleaning around the building and litter control
- Inform the Supervisor/Manager of stock required for replenishing purposes
- Promoting a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
- Undertake any other duties as requested
Requirements:
- A can-do attitude
- Experience of a similar role
- Good working knowledge of English
- Knowledge and willingness to apply safe working practices
- Knowledge of how to use the equipment necessary to carry out the assigned tasks.
- Garda Vetting required
